A Charming and
Past and Present
The History of
Auberge Bishop has truly unique architecture. The hostel was once the home of Peter Lyall, a wealthy contractor who had the house built in the late 1800s. From the wooden staircase to the incredible fireplaces, you’ll be dazzled by the details in this building with a French Renaissance design created by architect John J. Browne.
The newly renovated Auberge Bishop is a class apart from the city’s other affordable hotels and hostels, offering economical accommodations as you’ve never experienced.
